Help for depot (alias: dep)
Your depot stores gathered goods: herbs, hides, ore, wood and fish. You reach it at a depot keeper. Every keeper holds the same depot, so goods stored in one place can be taken out in another. There are keepers in Willowdale, Greyhearth and Saltwick.
The depot belongs to the character you are playing. Your other characters each have their own.
Usage:
depot
List what your depot holds, by kind of goods, and your goods still on the
road with a caravan.
depot put -
Store an item or a whole stack from your ingredient bag, a carrier, your
backpack, or your pack horse or cart when it is with you.
depot put
Store all your goods of one kind: pouch, hunter, ore, wood or fish.
depot put all
Store all your gathered goods.
depot get - [count]
Take goods out. Without a count you take the whole stack. They go where a
find would go: your ingredient bag, a carrier for them, your cart or pack
horse, or your backpack.
depot get all
Take everything out.
Storing goods and taking them out is free. Gear and other items can't be stored.
How much it holds
The depot holds a set number of each kind of goods, shown at the foot of the depot list. A stack counts every item in it, and goods still riding with a caravan to your depot count too. Anything past the limit stays with you, and you are told what.
In town
In Willowdale, Greyhearth and Saltwick you can use your depot without a keeper, to sell and to craft.
sell
- from depot
Sell one of an item straight from your depot.
sell all from depot
Sell everything in your depot that the merchant here buys. You are asked to
confirm the count and the gold first.
A crafting station in town uses the goods in your depot as if you carried them. What you carry is used first.
To put goods in or take them out, you still need a depot keeper.
