Help for appraise

The appraise command tells you the gold value of an item.

With the Appraise skill (Commerce):

  appraise     Check the value of an item in your inventory.

Without the skill:

  Visit a merchant and appraise  to have them appraise it for 20 gold.

Want more detail?

  The Identify skill (Awareness) reveals full item properties including
  damage, defense, stat modifiers, and magical effects.
